  3. You enter your contracted hours per week
  4. You toggle NHS pension and student loan repayment options as applicable
  5. The Extension performs all salary, tax, National Insurance, and pension calculations instantly using JavaScript running entirely inside your browser
  6. Results are displayed directly in the popup window

At no point does the Extension make any network request, contact any external server, or send any data to any third party — including us. The Extension functions fully without an internet connection once installed from the Chrome Web Store.

5. Permissions

The Extension requests zero browser permissions. It does not request access to:

  • Your tabs or browsing history
  • Your bookmarks or downloads
  • Your cookies or stored passwords
  • Any website you visit
  • Your clipboard, camera, or microphone
  • Your location or device sensors

This can be independently verified by inspecting the manifest.json file inside the Extension package, which contains an empty permissions array.
